Terms of service

These are the terms you agree to when you buy from Ancestral Brotherhood or use the training hall. Plain language, because you should be able to read them.

Who we are

Ancestral Brotherhood operates this site at ancestralbrotherhood.com and sells supplements, apparel and access to the training hall. We are based in Jacksonville, Florida. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Ancestral Brotherhood, and "you" means the person using the site or holding an account.

Agreeing to these terms

Using the site, placing an order or opening an account means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old to order from us or hold an account. By ordering you confirm that you are.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has gotten into it. We can suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms.

Orders, prices and payment

An order is an offer to buy, and it becomes a contract when we accept it and charge your payment method. We can decline or cancel an order, including after it is placed, if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was published in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after charging you, you get your money back in full.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax, which is calculated at checkout. We can change prices at any time; the price that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it.

Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: unopened supplements within 7 days, merch is final sale unless we made the mistake, and training hall access is non-refundable.

Shipping

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession, which is why we open carrier claims on your behalf rather than leaving you to it.

The training hall

The training hall is a subscription. What it costs, how often it renews and when the first charge lands are shown on the sign-up page before you confirm, and again in your confirmation email. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on that schedule until you cancel.

If your membership starts with a free period, we will tell you the date it ends and the amount that will be charged when it does, before you sign up.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future charges and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund past charges or unused time.

We may add, change or retire programs and features in the training hall. We will not take away the core of what you subscribed for without telling you first.

Training and supplements are not medical advice

Read this part properly.

Everything we publish, including programs, articles, coaching, the app and product pages, is general information and education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a conversation with a doctor.

Talk to a physician before you start a training program or take a supplement, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, under treatment for a condition, taking prescription medication, or have a history of heart, kidney or liver trouble. Stop and get help if something hurts in a way it should not.

Lifting weights carries risk of injury. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for judging what your body can take on a given day.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Results vary. Nothing on this site is a promise of a particular outcome.

What we own

The crest, the name, the writing, the photography, the video, the programs and the code on this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You can read it, use it and train from it. You cannot copy it, resell it, republish it or use it to build a competing product.

What you post

If you send us a review, a photo, a comment or a request, you keep ownership of it and you give us permission to use it in connection with the brand. Do not send us anything you do not have the right to send, and do not send anything abusive, deceptive or illegal. We can remove anything we choose to.

Things you may not do

Do not use the site to break the law, to scrape or copy it at scale, to interfere with how it runs, to get into someone else's account, or to share your training hall login with people who have not paid for it.

The site as it is

We work to keep this site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit on what we owe

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data arising out of your use of the site, our products or the training hall. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some states do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to cover us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts sitting in Duval County, Florida, and you agree to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
